He brings over 17 years working experience in the finance industry, and with his passion to help the small business community, his contribution to the team is indispensable.
Nathaniel has helped create a unique business model within the finance industry, bringing one of the first models to solely target the SME market. Fundamental Business Finance exists not only to give their clients the best finance and capital advice available it also believes that it’s an advocate for the SME community.
An entrepreneur with extensive experience in the finance industry, Nathaniel’s professionalism, ethical standards, passion and track record have qualified him as an influential member of the business and finance community.
Melissa comes from an executive managerial role in finance consulting and recruitment. She has also been integral in implementing business systems in the construction industry.
Coming from her native Austria, 10 years ago, Melissa has a key role in ‘Fundamental’, where her friendly persona and attention to detail are widely sought.
Miz has diverse experience across a broad range of business, including property investment & development strategies. She’s well versed in business & residential lending as well as taxation. She also had experience in running her own business over a 10 year period, prior to entering the finance industry.
Miz is an efficient, friendly communicator who is dedicated to looking after her clients’ best interests, by providing clear workable solutions.
Daniel’s finance career started some 8 years ago in NAB retail. This led to a very successful senior business banking manager role, where he regularly transacted corporate client deals of $5m plus, through commercial acquisitions & property development deals.
His focus & flair for structuring successful outcomes for his clients goes a long way in helping them achieve their goals. His ‘progress through long-term relationship’ attitude, has seen Daniel become a trusted finance strategist & partner.
Ruben comes to us from an engineering background in his native country Venezuela. His determination to achieve financial freedom here in Australia, has seen him work 3 jobs, as well as igniting a passion to work in the finance industry.
Since graduating from UniSA with Masters degrees in Management & Marketing, Ruben has since completed his finance broking qualifications, and is already proving his business acumen across the team and with his clients.
Edward joined Fundamental after spending the last 3 years with the First Choice Finance Group in Brisbane, where he worked in new home lending, refinancing & equity swaps. He graduated from the University of Queensland with a degree in International Business Management, before furthering his studies into finance.
Edward’s vision, work ethic, and core values are perfectly aligned with ours at Fundamental. Since coming on board in May 2017, Edward has been able to utilise the wealth of mentorship available at Fundamental, in developing a stronger relationship with his emerging business network & client base throughout both Asia and Australia.
Daniel’s spent much of his career as an entrepreneur in his hometown of Melbourne, Daniel has been involved in various businesses, including owning and managing health clubs and gyms. In 2014, he embarked upon a career in the finance industry and like previous businesses, gained momentum very quickly. Daniel understands the importance of excellent customer service by being able to offer the best possible solutions for his clients.
He has attributed much of his success in business, to building significant networks & honest relationships with his clients. His ‘open communication’ ethos is integral when working between parties.
Chris has 20 years experience in the accounting and finance industry. He was CFO of a prominent SA construction company for over a decade, helping to build the company from a small, family enterprise to one of Adelaide’s preeminent companies.
Chris’ extensive networks, particularly in the construction industry, have facilitated a seamless transition to business and commercial broking. Chris joined the FBF team in 2016 and his interpersonal and problem-solving skills, combined with his exceptional drive and work ethic have seen him quickly rise to become of the nation’s most respected and successful brokers.
After becoming a finalist in the commercial and asset finance categories of multiple national industry awards within his first two years of broking, Chris was recently awarded Asset Finance Broker of the Year (SA/NT) in the 2019 Connective Excellence Awards.
Darren joined the team in 2014 as head of mentoring/ training with a wealth of knowledge across the third party finance industry. He started his finance career as a residential finance broker in 2000, before spending ten years in aggregation as a State & partnership manager.
Darren has held a Cert IV in Training & Assessment for over 20yrs qualifying him as a trainer, mentor and facilitator and he acts as the primary mentor for brokers within the FBF Group.
